Dreamtime Community & Movement Building
About Dreamtime Community
Dreamtime Community is a future-ready learning ecosystem where children learn, create, collaborate and contribute. They publish, perform, explore emerging technologies, build projects, share their talents and connect with learners and experts beyond the boundaries of a conventional school.
Our ambition is larger than building an events platform. We want to build a movement, and eventually create a thriving physical Dreamtime Community wherever a meaningful concentration of Dreamtime learners exists.
The Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial community builder who can take complete ownership of growing Dreamtime Community across online and offline environments.
This person will bring together learners, parents, educators, experts, partner schools, organisations and communities to create experiences that are valuable, joyful and commercially sustainable.
The role combines community building, programme design, partnerships, events, sales and movement building. The person must be equally comfortable imagining a new learning experience, coordinating an international partner, filling an event and converting the opportunity into sustainable growth.
Core Outcome
To continually grow an active, engaged and revenue-generating Dreamtime Community, eventually creating the demand and ecosystem for a physical Dreamtime Community space wherever Dreamtime learners are concentrated.
Specific growth targets will be agreed upon together based on the existing community base and growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
Community Strategy and Growth
* Develop and execute the annual Dreamtime Community growth strategy.
* Grow the number of active learners, families, educators, partners and organisations within the community.
* Build a strong sense of belonging so that members participate repeatedly rather than attend isolated events.
* Create pathways through which community participants can discover Dreamtime Online School, physical schools and other Dreamtime offerings.
* Identify cities and countries where learner density could support local chapters, regular offline programming and eventually a dedicated physical community space.
Experiences and Calendarization
* Build and manage a vibrant annual, monthly and weekly calendar of online and offline experiences.
* Design events around creativity, AI, animation, entrepreneurship, books, performance, well-being, sustainability, future skills, service and learner interests.
* Develop a balance of free and paid learning opportunities.
* Create experiences for different age groups, parents, educators and families.
* Track attendance, repeat participation, feedback, learning impact and revenue.
Evening Community Learning
* Build and grow evening and weekend learning programmes for children who may not attend a Dreamtime online or physical school.
* Identify subjects, skills and experiences that families value and children genuinely want to explore.
* Source facilitators and create commercially viable free and paid programme models.
* Use these programmes to extend Dreamtime’s impact beyond its enrolled learner base.
Partnerships and Resource Coordination
* Identify and coordinate high-quality external experts, facilitators and organisations.
* Build collaborations with international schools and learning communities across different countries.
* Create opportunities for children to collaborate on projects across cultures and geographies.
* Source specialists for experiences such as animation, AI, storytelling, design, entrepreneurship, performance and other emerging learner interests.
* Negotiate partnership terms and ensure that every partner experience meets Dreamtime’s quality, values and child-safeguarding standards.
Revenue and Business Development
* Generate revenue through online and offline events, courses, memberships, partnerships and community experiences.
* Develop and close B2B opportunities with schools, organisations and community partners.
* Convert appropriate community interest into enrolments for Dreamtime Online School and other Dreamtime offerings.
* Build sponsorships and strategic collaborations where aligned with Dreamtime’s purpose.
* Maintain a transparent pipeline of leads, conversions and attributable revenue.
Movement Building
* Develop ambassadors, parent champions, learner leaders and local community hosts.
* Create stories and communication that make people want to participate, contribute and invite others.
* Ensure Dreamtime Community represents more than a collection of activities—it must embody curiosity, agency, creativity, connection and purposeful action.
* Help members feel that they are not merely attending Dreamtime events; they are helping build a different future for learning.
Measures of Success
Measures will be finalised collaboratively and may include:
* Growth in registered and active community members.
* Event attendance and repeat-participation rates.
* Engagement across cities and countries.
* Number and quality of external experts and institutional partnerships.
* Revenue from paid learning, events, memberships and B2B collaborations.
* Online School admissions attributable to community initiatives.
* Growth of evening and weekend learning programmes.
* Number of active local chapters and offline experiences.
* Participant satisfaction, referrals and community stories.
* Progress toward establishing physical Dreamtime Community spaces in high-potential locations.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal person will be:
* A natural community builder who creates belonging, not merely attendance.
* Entrepreneurial, resourceful and strongly outcome-oriented.
* Skilled in events, partnerships, programme development and business development.
* Able to move comfortably between educational purpose and commercial sustainability.
* An excellent communicator and relationship builder.
* Highly organised and able to manage several programmes simultaneously.
* Curious about future learning, technology, creativity and human development.
* Comfortable working with children, parents, educators, experts and institutional leaders.
* Willing to travel and lead offline experiences where required.
* Deeply aligned with Dreamtime’s belief in learner agency and human flourishing.
Remuneration
* Fixed remuneration
* Performance incentive: *5% of eligible net revenue directly generated through the person’s efforts*
Eligible revenue may include:
* Online and offline events and programmes.
* Paid courses, workshops and community memberships.
* B2B school and organisational sales.
* Partnerships and sponsorships initiated and closed by the Community Head.
* Dreamtime Online School admissions directly attributable to community events or initiatives led by the Community Head.
The attribution process, revenue targets and payment cycle will be documented and mutually agreed upon to ensure complete transparency.
The Opportunity
This is not a role for someone who wants only to organise events.
It is for someone who wants to build a movement—one experience, one partnership, one city and one community at a time.
