DREAMTIME EARLY YEARS

We Grow Teachers into Leaders.

We're Building Our Founding Team!

At Dreamtime Early Years, we believe that when you invest in teachers, nurture their potential, and encourage continuous learning, extraordinary things happen.

Our vision goes beyond providing quality early childhood education. We want to create an environment where educators discover their strengths, develop their skills, take on new responsibilities, and grow into future leaders in education.

Our experience has shown us that teachers can go on to lead teams, shape curriculum, and contribute to teacher development and school leadership. At Dreamtime Early Years, your professional growth matters as much as the growth of every child in your care.

Come for the opportunity to teach. Stay for the opportunity to grow. Rise to become the leader you never imagined you could be.

We are looking for passionate, caring, curious, and committed educators to join our founding team.

Position 1: Lead Preschool Teacher

Role Overview

As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a joyful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. You will lead classroom activities, plan meaningful learning experiences, and work closely with parents and colleagues to support each child's overall development.

This is an opportunity to build your teaching expertise, contribute to the school's early-years learning culture, and develop the leadership skills to grow into future academic and school leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development.

Create a warm, safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued.

Develop lesson plans and engaging activities using storytelling, music, movement, art, sensory exploration, and hands-on learning.

Observe children's development, document their progress, and identify individual learning needs.

Build meaningful relationships with parents and communicate children's progress effectively.

Establish positive classroom routines and encourage independence, creativity, curiosity, and collaboration.

Collaborate with support teachers and the school leadership team to ensure high-quality classroom experiences.

Participate in teacher training, curriculum planning, reflective practice, and continuous professional development.

Contribute ideas, share best practices, and take initiative in improving teaching and learning.

Demonstrate the potential to mentor fellow educators and take on future leadership responsibilities.

Position 2: Preschool Support Teacher

Role Overview

As a Preschool Support Teacher, you will work closely with the Lead Preschool Teacher to create a caring, safe, and engaging learning environment. You will help children explore, learn, build confidence, and develop essential early-life skills.

At Dreamtime Early Years, this role is more than classroom assistance. It is an opportunity to strengthen your teaching abilities, understand early childhood education, and build a pathway towards becoming an independent teacher and future educational leader.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Preschool Teacher in implementing lesson plans and daily classroom activities.

Support children during play-based learning, storytelling, art and craft, music, movement, and group activities.

Provide individual attention and encouragement to children based on their developmental needs.

Help maintain classroom safety, hygiene, organization, and age-appropriate learning resources.

Support daily routines, including transitions between activities and other age-appropriate care needs.

Encourage positive behaviour, independence, sharing, communication, and social interaction.

Observe children's participation and share relevant observations with the Lead Teacher.

Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a welcoming and inclusive classroom.

Participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities.
